nakshik

Use cases

Embroidery artwork from a photo, ready for the digitiser

Punching from a photo is guesswork. Nakshik first reconstructs the embroidery as stitched, with the thread count measured from the photo, then redraws it as solid thread shapes the digitiser can take straight into the software.

How it works

  1. 1

    Analyse

The analyser tells thread from print by sheen, stitch direction and satin bands, finds each embroidered area and measures its threads.

  2. 2

    Reconstruct as stitched

The embroidery as it is on the garment, on a transparent background, at full canvas.

  3. 3

    Digitiser version

One click: flat shapes in the measured thread colours, a minimum stroke of 1 mm, clean edges, plus an SVG trace.

What you get

  • Stitched look for approval, flat version for punching
  • Thread count you can change per area
  • PNG and SVG downloads side by side
  • Fabric colour behind the preview so white thread stays readable

Good to know

  • ·The SVG is a trace, a starting point for the punching software, not a stitch file.

Questions

Which embroidery types work?
Satin, fill and running stitch motifs photographed in good light. Very fine metallic work reconstructs as texture rather than individual threads.
Can I set the number of threads?
Yes, per area, before or after the first result; the digitiser version snaps to that count.
